What we collect
There are two ways this site collects information:
- When you send an enquiry. Our enquiry form asks for your name and phone number, and lets you add an email address, your travel dates, the room you are interested in and a message. We only receive what you choose to type in. This is sent to us by email so we can get back to you.
- When you browse. Like most websites, we collect basic, anonymous usage data as you move around, such as the pages you view, your device type and a rough location. This is not linked to your name, and we use it to understand what visitors find useful.
How we use it
Enquiry details are used to answer your question, help with your booking and follow up if you need us. Browsing data is used to see how the site is being used so we can improve it. We do not use your information for anything else, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.
Cookies and analytics
We use analytics tools to understand how the site performs. These may set cookies in your browser:
- Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, for anonymous visitor and page statistics.
- Microsoft Clarity, for anonymous, aggregated insight into how pages are used.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site still works with cookies turned off.
Bookings
When you book a room, the booking is handled by our booking provider, SmartBooking, on their own secure system. Any payment or card details you enter go to them, not to us. Their handling of your information is covered by their own terms and privacy policy.
How we keep it
Enquiries come to us by email and are kept only as long as we need them to help with your stay or a follow-up. We take reasonable care to keep your information secure. If you would like us to delete an enquiry you have sent, just ask.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email stay@cornwallhouseaccommodation.com.au or call (08) 9831 0214 during reception hours and we will sort it out.
